#TeamSuperMac smashed their target of 20 km with a final total of 35.5 km completed by trike, foot and exercise bike. There were a few bumps along the way including bad weather and a trip to Alder Hey for Alex, but fortunately Super Grandad stepped in to help clock up the kms on his exercise bike.
Team SuperMac were raising money for Rainbow Hub, based in Mawdesley, Lancashire. Rainbow Hub provide therapeutic services for children and young people with physical disabilities as a result of a neurological injury or brain injury. Like most charities, they have been hit hard financially by Covid-19 and have been working exceptionally hard to continue to provide therapies and support for all their families remotely. Rainbow Hub provides a lifeline for these families and need all the support they can get over this difficult period so that they can be back up and running as soon as they can.
