When hip replacement surgery goes wrong

Complications sometimes occur during or after hip replacement surgery. You may have undergone a total hip replacement or a resurfacing procedure and following the procedure, even if initially your recovery was going well, you now suffer from hip instability, pain and discomfort.

Complications can be wide ranging and very disabling. If you feel that the surgery did not go as planned then you may have a potential claim for damages to compensate you for the pain and discomfort you are going through and to assist with further treatment. It can be a distressing time with extensive immobility requiring care from family members and loved ones. You may be facing another revision procedure and a long recovery period.
