Members of the CL Medilaw team braved the cold weather and joined Meningitis Now at one of their many donation stations along the Great Western Railways South Coast Line. Their aim was not only to help with raising funds to continue with the invaluable work that they do, but to also hand out signs and symptoms cards to make people aware of the early signs of meningitis and the importance of seeking urgent medical attention.

On Tuesday 22 October 2019, our team collected money at Didcot Parkway between 8.30am – 10am and 4.30 – 630pm. Claire, Liya, Louise, Laura and Jonny had a great time and enjoyed meeting the many commuters who were very generous and happy to help with spreading the word and raising awareness of such a deadly disease. We are already counting down to next year’s campaign and can’t wait to see you there!

Kay Taylor, a partner in the team, had this to say: “We are very proud to help support Meningitis Now and the invaluable support it provides families affected by this condition. We hope that helping Meningitis Now at the Didcot Parkway bucket collection has helped not only to raise much needed funds for this excellent charity but also, to make passengers aware of the signs of meningitis”
