Worried about getting in touch?

You’re not sure, something didn’t seem right at the time, but you just don’t know whether things were done as they should have been, or not. You’re worried about time wasting, or worse you’re worried that your suspicions are true and you shouldn’t be in the position you are now.

Taking those initial steps to investigate a claim is daunting, there is a lot to think about and a lot of questions that you need answers to. Not only has your life been turned upside down by what has happened but now, you just don’t know what to do next.

Whether it is you, or a family member that has been injured, the team at CL Medilaw is here to support you, to guide you through every step and to help you find the answers to all those questions that you’re not sure whether to ask. We pride ourselves in providing a friendly and approachable service and using our depth of experience in this area to work with you to achieve the best possible outcome for you and your family.

The first steps are often the hardest. After coming to terms with the initial news that you or a loved one has suffered a serious injury and then learning how to cope with it is the toughest part of all. However, knowing where to turn and whether you have a claim is not always clear. This is where we can help.

First steps

It’s important to keep a record of early events. You may want to write down your recollection of any conversations you had with your treating clinicians as this could be important and get friends/relatives to do the same if they were present.

It’s a good idea to keep a record or a diary of what happened in the days or weeks that followed, the journeys that were made, the expenses incurred, the care and support that was provided. All this will form part of your claim at a later stage.

We can provide you with initial advice as to whether or not a claim can be pursued. We can review any paperwork you have and may be able to obtain and review your medical records free of charge for you.

If you would like to discuss your potential claim with a member of our team, you can call us on 0345 2410154 or email us at enquiries@clmedilaw.co.uk.
