On Saturday 25th March we were extremely excited to attend Rainbow Hub’s Easter Fair. The fair brings together families with children that have a neurological condition as well as trustees of the charity for a day packed with fun and laughter during the Easter period.
At the event, they had a musician doing interactive musical activities with the children, raffles, delicious Easter cake making, and a painting sale. We helped donate a variety of helium balloons for the children to enjoy and provided a face painter so that some of the children painted as their favourite Easter related characters.
Families attended the events, along with Lucy Metters and Rebecca Wilson who is a Trustee there and helps organise the events with Rainbow Hub.
Rainbow Hub are a charity based in Lancashire. They provide rehab services to children and young people with physical disabilities as a result of a neurological condition.
When asked about the event Lucy has this to say:
The event was amazing, as they always are. It is lovely for Rebecca and I to see familiar faces and get to know the families. They really like having their faces painted and also the different types of helium balloons that we took along. The events are always fun and a reminder of why we do what we do.
