On Wednesday 25th January members from our Maidstone and Crawely team attended CBIT’s first fundraising event of the year, their wonderful talent show at the prestigious Phoenix Arts Club.
The event had 9 amazing acts that took to the stage, varying from musicians to comedians to the more unusual acts of entertainment. The team was all able to sit back and enjoy each act whilst helping raise money for such a worthy cause. The Venue in London helped add to the atmosphere, with comfortable seating, a great array of food and drink and bringing that feeling of the West End alive.
Many other supporters of CBIT attended the event as well as many from the sponsoring organisations including Deka Chambers and R Costings.
CBIT stands for Child Brain Injury Trust, they are an organisation that research and provide information regarding the effects of ‘traumatic’ injury on a child’s developing brain. They provide emotional and practical support, information and learning opportunities for families and professionals affected by childhood acquired brain injury across the UK.
When asked about the event Mona has this to say:
"A fantastic evening attending the first CBIT fundraising event of 2023. It was a night filled with fun, some laughs and a show of great talent.
A huge round of applause to the incredible acts on their brilliant performances! ."Mona Gholami
