We are proud to announce our support for this year’s Superhero Series – the UK’s only disability sports event open to everyone. The series has grown hugely over the last few years and coverage can be seen on channel 4.
The Superhero Series is made up of two events which usually take place at Dorney Lake, the Superhero Tri and Winter Wonderwheels. In each event, participants can either fly solo or unite with family and friends to assist them with the unique tri challenges (swimming, running and cycling). There is also the celebrity challenge, which is hugely popular.
Given the current Covid-19 pandemic, the Superhero Tri 2020 is being replaced with an all-new mission – At Home Superheroes! Individuals can either participate on their own or in teams with a challenge to complete 20km between 15 June 2020 – 15 July 2020, by walking, running, cycling or using their wheelchair.
CL Medilaw are keen to support the Superhero Series event which helps the families we represent and the charities we worth change lives for the better – making a real difference to those with disabilities.
This year, the CL Medilaw team are supporting our families and a number of charities we work with, including PACE and Rainbow Hub to create teams to participate in the at home event. We are also supporting Amputation Foundation who for the first year are taking part in the event as a charity friend.
