Celebrating 5 years of changing lives
In early July we got together with all of our colleagues to celebrate the 5th anniversary of the launch of CL Medilaw . Our specialist team, rebranded in 2019 as CL Medilaw has seen tremendous success and growth, with the team now extending to 110 colleagues working together nationwide.
This 5-year period has shown an exceptional increase in the clinical negligence and serious injury referrals to the team. Our specialist birth injury team has represented families in high profile maternity care claims being reported across national and local media, as well as resolving many obstetric claims for damages, including some of the highest valued cerebral palsy settlements in the country. We continue to contribute to the national debate on maternity care.
We have recruited prominent and leading lawyers in the market, launching new teams in Lincoln, Birmingham, Newbury, Brighton and most recently Weybridge. We have centralised and expanded our Court of Protection team to provide ongoing support to clients and families after claims are resolved.

The team has fundraised, supported, sponsored, and promoted initiatives throughout the country with those that support the families we work with.
Our Giving Back fund continues to assist children who have suffered neurological injuries to access essential therapy and equipment where no funding is available.
At the heart of it all we are dedicated to getting the best outcome for all the families we work with and feel privileged to support those that need us most, changing lives as we do so.
