We proudly supported Peeps HIE at their first Sunshine and Sparkle Ball on 18 May 2019 at The Hilton in Manchester with some parents of our clients who have a diagnosis of Hypoxic Ischaemic Encephalopathy, or HIE for short. We also invited another charity partner, Stockport CP for which I am on the Board of Trustees.
Peeps HIE is a charity that supports families following a diagnosis of HIE. They provide information packs to Neonatal Units across the country for families who have just received a diagnosis so that they have information and support. They also provide buddy support if a parent would like help from a mum or dad that has been through a similar experience.
We had an absolutely wonderful evening full of dancing, glitter face painting and fun roulette.
We represent many families who have been given a diagnosis of HIE and Cerebral Palsy so supporting both Peeps HIE and Stockport CP in their work is very important to us.
We are looking forward to working with both charities in the future by helping them to support their families.
