CL Medilaw take part in the big walk

On Saturday 27 April, two teams from our Oxford office took part in PACE’s Big Walk challenge. PACE is a charity based in Aylesbury that provides first class education, therapy and support for children aged 0-18 with cerebral palsy, related sensory motor disorders and development delay. Their aim is to help children to achieve their full potential in life

This year’s Big Walk routes took in part of the Icknield Way Ridgeway Link and the Ridgeway Trail between Ivinghoe Beacon and Wendover. Refreshments, snacks and plenty of motivation were provided en route and there was a warm and celebratory welcome at the end.

The Yellow team (Farah Tasneem, Jessica Lam, Jonathan Warlow, Roanna Collis, Jenny Peus, Louise Astill, Isabel McLennan and Michael Wong) started off bright and early to tackle the 18-mile route along the Ridgeway in often windy conditions, thanks to Storm Hannah!

The Blue team (Kay Taylor and Laura Bland) walked the 6-mile route later in the afternoon as part of the family walk with children.

The total raised collectively was £1,300.00. CL Medilaw would like to thank everyone for their generous donations.
