Lucy is a Senior Associate in our Clinical Negligence team. Lucy represents individuals who have suffered harm as a result of medical negligence, advising on a diverse range of complex clinical negligence matters. She has particular experience in cases arising from the mismanagement of pregnancy and birth, including cerebral palsy claims, as well as acquired brain injury claims.
Her practice also encompasses complex orthopaedic claims, delayed diagnosis of cancer cases, gynaecological claims, bladder and bowel injury claims, actions against general practitioners, meningitis claims and psychological injury claims including claims brought by secondary victims.

Lucy’s case highlights include:
- Assisting in the settlement of a £220,000 claims on behalf of a gentleman who sustained abdominal injuries following a delayed diagnosis of a bowel obstruction.
- Obtaining a substantial settlement for a client arising from negligent surgical treatment in connection with an appendectomy.
- Assisting in agreeing a liability settlement in a £M+ claim for a child who suffered a severe brain injury as a result of the delayed diagnosis and treatment of meningitis.
