Tom is an Associate in our medical negligence team. He represents clients who have suffered injury as a result of negligent medical care and has experience across a broad spectrum of medical negligence matters. Tom’s work is primarily focused on complex cases involving birth-related injuries, cerebral palsy and maternal psychiatric injuries, many of which involve highly sensitive circumstances and significant long-term implications.
Tom regularly assists on high-value and technically complex claims, contributing to the investigation, development and progression of cases alongside senior members of the team. His experience includes assisting in the settlement of a cerebral palsy claim at quantum stage, as well as supporting a successful liability settlement in a case involving a missed diagnosis of infection that resulted in stroke of a one-year-old child.
Tom is thorough and detailed-focused in his approach, with a clear understanding of medical and legal issues that arise in complex clinical negligence litigation.
