About
Lisa is a Partner specialising in Court of Protection work. She manages compensation awards as a Court of Protection–appointed deputy and trustee, advising individuals on the effective long‑term management of their funds. Many of her clients have sustained catastrophic brain injuries as a result of serious injury or clinical negligence and, as a consequence, lack the mental capacity to make decisions for themselves.
Lisa’s work includes advising on how compensation should be used to support rehabilitation, enhance quality of life and be invested appropriately to ensure her clients’ needs are met throughout their lifetime. She also makes applications to the Court of Protection for authority to proceed with significant decisions, including property purchases and the adaptations required to meet her clients’ ongoing needs.
She represents clients across the UK and has extensive experience managing the financial affairs and lifelong care requirements of both children and adults who have suffered traumatic or acquired brain injuries. Lisa is a Chartered Legal Executive and a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
