Fran is a Partner specialising in clinical negligence and complex birth injury claims. She has wide-ranging expertise, with a particular focus on supporting children and families affected by birth injury and acquired brain injury. Fran has handled a broad range of claims, including delayed diagnosis of cancer, fatal accidents, surgical claims and catastrophic injury cases. Her specialist area is birth injury.
Fran works closely with parents navigating the aftermath of birth trauma, particularly where a child has developed cerebral palsy as a result of the management of their birth or neonatal care. She has experience of cases involving high-risk pregnancies, fetal growth restriction, Group B Strep infection, hypoglycaemia and the delayed diagnosis of meningitis.
