Case Highlights
- Securing an £8.6 million settlement just over two years after the accident for a client who sustained multiple injuries – including brain injury, spinal cord injury and complex orthopaedic injuries, after being struck by a car while crossing the road.
- Securing a £2.5 million settlement for a client who sustained a brain injury in a road traffic accident after being knocked off her bicycle. The claim involved complex causation issues arising from post-accident diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease which was unrelated to the accident, but alleged to have independently given rise to significant care and support needs.
- Securing an admission of liability for a client who sustained a hypoxic brain injury due to complications during a clavicle repair procedure. This facilitated substantial interim payments, enabling the client’s discharge from a brain injury rehabilitation unit to an adapted bungalow and the recruitment of support workers and private therapists to meet her ongoing care and therapy needs.
