Pete, also known as #Petebones is one of our #superheroes taking part in the Winter Wonderwheels challenge 2020.
We caught up with Pete to ask him how he found the challenge using a mixture of his race chair, day chair and crutches:-:
“It is always more difficult in the winter, but seeing all the amazing updates from all the other at home superheroes really kept my motivation and spirits high throughout the challenge. The challenge has been great and so inclusive. To be part of it, thanks to CL Medilaw, has really made November fly by and helped me through a very tough time.”
#Petebones’ favourite part of the challenge was his trip to Dunham Massey with his sidekicks, where he bumped into some friends who joined in too. He has loved spending time with the family and was pleased that they all completed the challenge together.
Pete also took part in the JJ Chalmers Team Spiderman in the around the world challenge which completed the longest distance – an amazing 49,312kms.
